    I turned on Dateline one night and there was someone I had worked side by side with for a year. Her sister had been murdered. I had not seen her in years. It was both weird and kind of cool seeing someone you know on television like that, although, it was under very sad circumstances...

    That is a real sad story. Yes a science teacher I really admired did a science segment on the news.

    Yes, I was on the news about 20 years ago. I was running and a news station reporter stopped me and asked me if I'd comment on the corner sheriff's Annex shutting down. I watched later that night to see myself and my very edited comments. However, they relayed my points.

    Also I was a cheerleader at competition in high school and the news station covered it. We were throwing it up fun, no words but very visible on the news!

    She's a nice woman but had an awful problem with her sons long (gorgeous, viking-like) hair. Once, years ago, she was giving him a hard time about it and I very quietly said "my dad has long hair."

    Did the trick. Its only ever said in a jokey way now!

    Never, I wouldn't want to hurt someone's feelings. I've had dates where there wasn't chemistry but only way I'd ever walk out was if they were outright rude or disrespectful.

    Yes, my kitchen was bright orange once and many people commented on how awful the color was (I like it, though).

    This will be my 9th year with this company, and i plan on staying for much longer

    Last year we had a colleague retiring, but was with the company for 50 years!
    Also we have a lot of people passing the 40 years with the company.

    Kinda shows that it is a good company to work for.

    Yes, I had 3 jobs at the same time, more than once in my life- I like to keep busy. lol However they were all part-time. But I like people, and I liked my jobs at the time.
