Hi Guys! I just recently found out that I'm pregnant. I was wondering if there is a way to put that into this app so it can calculate it.

Congrats! How exciting ❤ there isn't a way of adding it in the app, not that I am aware of. For the first trimester try to include foods with higher folate, vitamin B6 and iron, it will help with nausea. Besides that, just try to get as much nutrients in as you can.
  • If you set goals to gain a half pound per week at your pre-pregnancy weight, that may approximate it. However, don't be disappointed if it doesn't work in a perfectly linear fashion. I never had much appetite in the first three months, so I ate what reasonably healthy things I could as I could. Pregnancy experiences vary widely. Sometimes I could exercise, sometimes not. Sometimes I craved salad and fresh fruit. Other times I only wanted Easy Mac, and the thought of a vegetable made me sick. Just keep going the best you can for you and your baby. Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy!

Welcome to MFP and congratulations on your impending bundle of joy!

I found this thread for calorie counting while pregnant extremely useful, and easy to understand:

I also enjoy participating in the fit, fabulous, and pregnant group. There are alot of other pregnant women who are fun to talk to and very supportive of one another.
