Would you believe I was saying something about this to my mom? When I was a kid and we'd have Library time wouldn't I sometimes just grab an encyclopedia and flip through it? Isn't this why I don't mind my son having screen time cause half the time he's googling things he finds interesting?

You can get all the info online and even soft copies of encyclopaedias, then why do we need the hard copies? Don’t you support environment?

Could it be the crisp paper odor?

Or the scent of aged paper, that aroma of wisdom?

Could it be that it's better than staring into a computer screen? Or maybe the feel of turning each page?

Can an old book be new to me, even if I had/read the book long ago, but am getting it new today in the form of an old (i.e. used) copy?:grin:

Isn't a book always new, even if you are reading it again after a long time?

Is it more confusing than Bob Dylan's lyric "I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now"? :D

You mean it isn't just because I'm getting forgetful? :relieved:

Be it a long time or pure forgetfulness, don't you enjoy rereading books all the same? Speaking of which, have you read or reread any good books lately?

Did you know there is a thread under Chit-Chat called What Book are you Reading? Do you know it has tons of suggestions from which I have ordered many books that were suggested?

Would you believe I've a little free library in my front yard and every single day I see people stopping at it? Would you believe one person was facetiming a friend and showing it off to the friend?
