I used to eat a lot of junk food, but since I started with MFP about a couple of weeks ago I've been eating healthier. Except, yesterday that I had mall food and I got very sick. It made me realized that I couldn't handle junk food anymore so with my new life change I figured why not detox. I started looking online for a detox diets but I also want to hear what MFPs' have to say or would recommend?
Thanks :DD

Raw food worked for me (I actually use it as my eating habit now so you might just call it a lifelong detox). The first week, I lost 8 lbs. Obviously that was water weight being retained by all the chemicals and salts that "normal" food gave me. I have been on this for over 3 months now and doing terrific!0

Half body weight in fluid oz of water daily. Not too sure about - but Wheat Grass shots!!?. and as well as your food diet/detox as well.. Good luck.0

Your body detoxes its self that is what your kidneys, liver etc are for and it is natural, it doesn't make you pee, it works 24 hrs 7 days a week and you never have to think about the body is a wonderful thing. And it's free0

If you start eating right and keep it up, your body should naturally detox. So a detox diet doesnt sound to spiffy but if your eating right I dont think that would be an issue.0

When you got sick on mall food, that was an indication that your body was already in detox mode. When I'm eating lots of salads, lean chicken and fish, nothing fried, and good carbs, I can't turn around and eat greasy food without getting nauseous!
If it would make you feel better, try increasing your water intake, perhaps drinking an herbal detox tea (not "dieter's" tea which has laxatives or diuretics).0 -
