Hi all , can someone please help me ?? I’m allocated 1640 calories as I’m trying to loose weight . I exercise 6 times a week and always have calories left over in the green , so what I want to know is if I’ve consumed my total of 1640 calories but say have 300 left in green does this mean I can eat them and still be in calorie deficit ??????? X

I try to only eat the allocated calories. The exercise earned calories I only eat if I plan a treat. Thats usually at the weekend. I don't feel guilty at all if I use them, but I'd only eat that days exercise. So basically start fresh every day.2

MFP's model assumes you will eat back your logged exercise calories.3

I've never had this problem.

I try to eat back the exercise calories, as MFP recommends. But I'm in such bad shape any exercise burns lots of calories. I'm not sure how good MFP really is at determining calories burned in exercise. I'm losing, though, so eating back exercise calories works, for me, at this stage.1
