Hi everyone. I have spent the last 10 months chasing things that haven't got me anywhere. I have decided to change this. Everyone around me wants to see me do well with my weight loss and be well inngeneral but yet I sabotage my own success. So today this will all change. I am prioritising myself!
I have decided to drop an ongoing dispute and let it go so I can focus on myself. So far I have lost just under 40lbs. I still eed to lose another 98lbs so I need to do this otherwise I will be facing other health complications!
Hope you are all doing well on your journey. Feel free to add me as a friend if you too want to prioritise your health and want to shift those lbs you've been carrying for years!

Right here with you!
After years of self-sabotaging, I'm working on changing and letting go of a lot of things in my life. I'm not getting any younger and don't want to waste any more time not living my best life

Right here with y'all. I only went to the gym to workout regularly when the 15 yr old had workouts. I make sure he did his training but skipped mine. I watched his calories, caffeine intake, and added more vegetables/fruit for his diet. He has a super fast metabolism so can eat anything...and still lose weight.
NO MORE! I added a home gym over quarantine for ME. I grabbed all of the training gear he wasn't using or thought was lame and moved it to the garage. I now lift weights which I haven't done in over 30 years. He can use the gym but it is mine. I go into the garage blast MY music and do what I can...which is bit more every day.
I made sure he had everything to recover from his workouts and competition. It isn't that I wasn't informed. I became lazy. I hate lazy people.
NO MORE.11 -
I was always slim until I retired from sporting activites when I was 45........I am now 59 and the weight crept on as my knees were seriously damaged.....four years ago I finally had both knees replaced and thought the extra movement would help cut down my weight........nope.......so I decided to get serious...I began my first ever plan of action(hate the word diet)on 1st Oct 2020....ate 5,020.8kj......walk for 1 hour every day, standing cardio 3 times a week for 30 mins, walk the dog 30 mins a day and never lost a skerrick from then until yesterday!!!!..........asked questions.........listened to some advice and the thinking is I haven't been eating enough......so yesterday I began a new course of action..........have increased intake to 7,531kj and will monitor my weight for 2 weeks to see if there's any change........Instead of giving up for the past 5 months,I just kept kicking myself up the bum and kept going.......if this doesn't work then I'll drop my intake until I find a balance but I'm not going less than 6,276kj.........fingers crossed6

I am now Switzerland or in other words neutral as far as family drama goes. Found out the hard way that being the mediator or monkey in the middle is NOT healthy for me. So there's that and I'm done trying to please everyone and trying to control things I can't this is my idgaf year. And it feels GREAT!!!3

I had to change my priorities quite a bit too and start asking for things for my own benefit! And setting gentle but firm boundaries. I'm 85 pounds down, around 30 to go, and will also accept friend requests. It's great that you are doing what it takes to shift the rest of the weight and transform your life. Because - it will!1
