This one is for the ladies. OK, I weighed myself last Sunday weighed 139.4, got my period this Friday, stuck to my workouts all week, went over my calories on Tuesday but was under every other day. Then got on the scale this morning and gained 1.6 lbs. My question is, can 2 days of being bloated and on my period really effect my weight?

  • Definitely! Watch your sodium especially well the week before and during this time and make extra sure to drink lots of water. If you stick to your plan this week it will be gone and so will more weight most likely.

Yes. It's normal, it happens every month... in fact it prob. has been happening every time since you started getting your period.

Drink lots of water and by the end of you're period it will be gone.

I wish I knew whem my period was actually going to hit. I'm never regular and thank god for an app on my phone so when the dr. asks me when my last cycle was I can reliably tell her lol.

to answer your question though - as the other ladies said.. absolutely yes. I bet by your next weigh in, you'll have lost the weight you see on the scale and then some.

Thanks ladies, didn't realize we could actually gain weight during TOM. I guess next week will be the true test. Thanks again, I was feeling a little disheartened.
