I received a message from a very sad Fitness Chick telling me she is leaving MFP because she is so hurt over mean folks posting on the boards.

I was devastated to hear that one of my inspirations was contemplating leaving. Her page has not yet been deactivated, so maybe she is mulling it over before she truly decides.

    FC can't go. What about those of us that need her inspiration? Those that want her tips and advice? don't let the bad evil people take away what you have done adn given to all the rest of us. That is not fair to us and most definately not FAIR to you....you need us and we WANT and NEED YOU SISTER!!!!!!:sad:

    You offer so much support and insight to a lot of people on this site. It would be such a shame to see you leave. Beyond that, you've been an inspiration and motivator as well. Your amazing success stands out whenever you post a response, and the void you would leave is immeasureable. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best (but truly hope you'll stick around).

    Don't allow the downers and meanies out there to drive you away... that just means they win. You're stronger than that... smarter than that. There are negative people EVERYWHERE on earth... you can't run away from them. Most of them are negative because they are unhappy with themselves...

    And for those who post rude comments, I think we should all be more vigilant about reporting them. I have been using MFP for over a year, and lately I've quit roaming the boards as much b/c I've noticed the increase in "Negative Nancies". Or, I simply ignore them. :tongue:
