Trying something new

Hello out there.. I am working to make lifestyle changes one thing at a time. I've tried every trend diet out there and nothing has really been successful, but I think that's more I could not adjust to the diet and lifestyle. Such as Keto, for some they really like it, but wasn't for me. I've found if you can't maintain that lifestyle then you will not maintain the weight off and gain back double time. At least this has been my experience. One of my goals right now is being more aware of what I put in my mouth and tracking my food even on my "bad" or "cheat days.:" Logging my food is one of my healthy choice approach I have been taking. I will be open to suggestions and ideas. Look forward to chatting with folks.

I find tracking great makes me think twice before I eat something and the more you do it the easier it becomes. Good luck on your journey stay positive 👍

I agree with you on Keto! Not sustainable long-term. I prefer to log, hit my calorie target most of the time, and allow treats in moderation. That's much more realistic and sustainable for me.

Another who isn't a keto fan. And as a professional trainer, I've yet to have any client who attempted it, NOT GAIN weight back due to adding carbs back to their diet.
There are too many carb filled foods that are HEAVEN to eat and I would totally regret doing keto. I roll my eyes when a ketoer says "oh I don't miss carbs at all". To me that's like saying "I don't need to orgasm during sex." :D

Don't do anything you can't maintain long term! I agree!!! The BIGGEST thing for me this time was not letting a bad weekend or even bad day or meal ruin everything. Just pick back up where I left off! Tracking keeps you accountable! Good for you! I'm doing more maintenance than losing (I lost 75lbs) but to get back on track...I have to track my calories. You got this!
