Faith over Stress

Stress is a self inflicted condition. It’s like any other bad habit that won’t go away unless we manage it on purpose. And it’s not easy! Especially if our body has acclimated to the response.

The way I manage stress is by identifying as a calm person and having faith that all obstacles are there for my benefit. I am confident in trusting God for every outcome and do my best to avoid damaging my wellbeing with toxic thoughts or worries.

Life is hard. Life is also good. It’s both. This too shall pass. Things change. Keeping a positive mindset is one of the ways I manage to keep stress levels at a minimum. 💟

Absolutely!! The Bible is an amazing resource for how to manage the challenges of life, and when I compare my minor afflictions with what Job was subjected to...well, my problems don’t seem so big! Thank you for sharing that example. ✨

I stress and have faith. :)

Abraham was known for his faith and still stressed about people killing him for his wife and pretended she was his sister.
    Isaac did the same.
Moses stressed about speaking and argued with God about picking someone else.
David stayed worried that Saul would kill him.

I think that you can stress and still believe and hope in God.

I'm different. Ever since I abandoned faith in religion, my stress is almost nonexistant because I'm not questioning whether or not if I'm following a set of religious rules. This was years ago and for me it's been one of the best things because before I would judge people. Now I'm open to all views.

You can have all of the faith in the world and still be stressed to the max. Medical professionals are being stretched beyond belief and faith. They're human. Religion is meandering outside of the MFP normal river banks and parameters. It's a leaverite. So, I'll leave it right there. So long now.
