So close but yet so far

Hello everybody, nice to be here! I desperately need advice.
I'm a guy, 38 years old, 158 lbs, 5'8", and my goal is close but yet so far. I just want to lose 2 inches off my waist, nothing more nothing less. I know there is no partial fat loss, but if you lose another five pounds my face will look like a skull.
It's still cold outside but I jog yesterday for 40 minutes. I felt great! I tried to workout at home but due to hiatus hernia I have dizziness and nausea at night so I have to skip that.
What worked for you? Combination of HIIT and LISS, Youtube videos or the gym? To be honest, I hate the gym! I loath "bros" who constantly nag million types of muscles and exercise and only care about broccoli, rice, eggs, whey and chicken breast
Gym people are so toxic!

Toxic gym people are the only ones who are going to offer suggestions on how to lose two inches off your waist without losing weight. This is especially true with jogging as your main exercise.
Have you gotten treatment for your medical condition?2 -
No treatment needed, it's a sliding hernia, it's not dangerous but some exercises are no-no, especially squats, pushups, sit ups...I know I must lose weight to lose fat, but I won't go to the gym. I can use open gym on sunny days, I can do some chin ups, pull ups, dips, and Bulgarian squats 3 x per week.
Do you think I can do it?0 -
Maybe you could google standing core exercises or core exercises and ask your doctor which exercises are safe for you to perform? If you can do oblique exercises, transverse abdominus and hit upper/ lower rectus abdominus and back you would have a balanced set of exercises for your core and this should lead to a tighter waist if you perform them every day.1
