Hi mfp recommended I eat 1810 cal for my weight and height. IV been trying 1310 I lost for two weeks then been pretty quite since, iv tried 1520 cal but not much happened , so finally iv upped to 1810 to ser how my body reacts , its been such a mental fight getting myself to eat more calories as iv always ate less. So i still a little scared about what will happen now im eating 1810. Has any one else had a similar battle . ??? How did your body react to more calories

I increased from 1200 to 1620 when I moved from weight loss mode to maintenance mode. No problems for me, at all!

Up them slowly, like up them 100 every couple of days. IAnd make sure you up them with healthy food like nuts or fruit. But yeah upping them slowly should make you less nervous and be less impact on your body

I need to do it too. While calculating my weight loss and what I ate i kinda feel i was on ~1000 calories deficit.
I will start eating ~1900 calories from now on and see if I still loose weight or gain.
20 kg in 5 months is enough Id say need to stop there.

I know how you feel, I regularly eat way under what I should - mfp says 1200. On days when I go to the gym and do an aerobics class (only twice a week at the moment) I am left with at least 300 calories. I just really like fruit, veg, fish etc so unless I start eating chips and burgers it really difficult. I never seem to lose any weight though - Lose 2llb put it back on, lose 2 pounds put it back on and so the cycle goes on. I must have been eating more unhealthily over the last 12 months coz I've put on 1 stone and just can't get if off and I am now worried if I eat more I'll put more on. :-(
