I've had and maintained a physique that I loved. It's been a few years and I'm ready to get back to it. Any friends welcome πŸ™‚

That's awesome! Welcome back! Are you just looking to lose the weight, or do you have other goals?

My main choice of "formal" exercise is weightlifting, so I definitely want to get my lift numbers back up. I also love to snow ski and kayak and keep my kiddos active and outdoors as much as possible. The better my endurance and strength is, the better our days go overall.

Hey, I'm 29, no babies at the moment! I have allowed myself to slack so much over the past year and gained 12 lbs, and stopped what little exercise I was doing. I blame lockdown and moving in with a boy but whatever the cause I've decided to do something about it!
    I'm currently 156lbs.
Interim target is my pre lockdown weight of 144lbs.
My ultimate target is the weight I know I looked and felt the best of my life (we're talking about 8 years ago!) At 133lbs.

My plan at the moment is to follow Pamela Reif (YouTuber) weekly work out schedule starting week 1 2021. I started yesterday.
Diet wise I'm going to stick to an average of less than 1500 per day over a week. Aiming to reduce my carb intake, stop snacking, cut out takeaway, and eat healthy well balanced meals.

    Nice to meet you all!
    Em

I've never heard of her, I'll have to check out her channel. It's so nice that there are so many resources available on youtube, etc.

    I added you!

I've had an up and down week, got 2 workouts in so far and another scheduled for this evening.
Have mostly stuck to my plan, apart from it was my birthday on Wednesday so I just let things slide that day πŸ˜‚ I also had a couple of sneaky snacks yesterday but stayed under 1500 calories!
    How are you all doing?

I missed a couple workouts this week, but I hit my calorie goal consistently and went skiing a couple times, so I stayed active.
Off on a girl's trip this weekend, I won't have much control over my food so I'll be focusing on prioritizing protein and minimizing sweets.

It is cadbury mini egg season tho and I am seriously craving those delicious little things!
