Could someone please tell me what (if there are any) the advantages to drinking water with either lemon juice or apple cider vinegar? I am not looking to do a cleanse. What are the pros and cons of each? Thanks for your help.

    IDK about vinegar, but lemon makes it tastier and helps prevent kidney stones, which is important if you are eating high protein or drinking lots of tea.

    The lemon helps the taste for those who don't like plain water, so it's easier to get down.

    The apple cider vinegar is supposed to up your metabolism, but that's not a proven thing.

    I am not sure what the 'science' is (I think rumours are that it helps 'speed your metabolism'), but when I was drinking hot water/lemon juice after every meal, I felt like my dijestive system was working better. It works wonders for me if I'm feelin' bloated. Sorry I couldn't give a better answer!

    I like lemon in my water sometimes just because of the taste.... I don't know if it "does" anything.
