Weight loss: 50kg to lose

Hi all,
There doesn't seem to be a weight loss section on here?

To be at the ideal weight I need to lose approx 50kg. Atm it does feel impossible but I will give it my best shot.

I'm here to try and make it happen this time and have made some long term changes to my diet (cutting out the choc and biscuits!) and with at least some form of excercise everyday.

Anyone else looking to lose alot of weight?

Has anyone managed to lose alot of weight before? Would be good to get some tips and advice.

    I lost 70lbs using MFP back in 2018! I’m back now postpartum working to lose the pregnancy weight. My biggest advice is to break your large goal into many smaller, achievable goals. This will keep you motivated to keep going. For instance, lose the first 10lbs, lose 5% of your body weight etc. You can also include non-scale related goals like log consistently for 10 days. Achieving these small goals is very motivating. Just plug your stats into MFP, chose your rate of loss, and eat that amount of calories and you will lose! I also suggest using a food scale to measure as estimating quantities is very inaccurate. Good luck!
