how long has this been going for?
there are several good threads in the forum with good suggestions like zigzaging calories, changing excersise routine etc

I have been plateaued for about a month now. Keep losing and gaining the same 3 pounds!!! It is very frustrating, so I feel your pain! I just keep trying to eat healthy and work-out everyday and hopefully the scale will decide to move again! I am thinking about trying Jillian Michael's Making the Cut. Hmmm...

I sypathise, I keep yo-yoing with the same 4lbs, then, just when I think yay I've cracked the scale, I yo-yo again! :grumble:
But hey! At least its only the same few pounds - I know its frustrating, but (and I speak for myself here), it wasn't that long ago, I'd have given in, and gained aqll the weight I'd lost plus some.

Thanks dew, that's what I was gonna post.
I guess the only thing I can add to that is this:
If you are yo-yoing, examine what you are doing. It's ok to say I'm gaining and losing the same 3 or 4 pounds, but if you don't figure out why that's happening, then it's just going to frustrate you.
Look at EVERYTHING. What are you eating, do you have the right activity level set, how are you monitoring your exercise calories, what is your deficit, do you work in a high stress environment, are you doing the same exercises over and over and over...etc.
and don't forget about things like, food sensitivities, TYPES of calories, amount of sleep, time between exercise, alcohol consumption...etc.
These can all be factors contributing. In order to change yourself, you have to change some of the things that keep you the same. If you just change one thing, that might not be enough (I.E. just lowering your calories). This goes doubly for people with less weight to lose.0 -
:grumble: I know - I hit that about a month ago.
I just had to do two things really; get the right number of cals per day (I was seriously undercutting puting my body in starvation mode) and change up my routines so my body didn't get used to a certain workout.
It worked...
