Hunger!

hey guys im afraid I need some help! My diary is public I think so can you check it out and see where I'm going wrong I haven't weighed myself but I don't think I'm doing this wrong, I used to be SO hungry like within 30 mins of a meal but now I'm not hungry at all I know that sounds good but I don't wanna go into starvation mode! I currently have a cold so that could be why? Cause the hunger only stopped a few days ago! Tips please guys?! X

  • Keep eating - low sodium soup, drink water, take vitamin C and probiotic (jarro-dophilus is a good one) and you should be feeling better soon. I imagine when you feel better your appetite will come back with a vengence.

    If you've got a cold,maybe it's affecting your taste buds?? That'd affect your appetite a lot.. Try not to worry too much. Feel better soon. :flowerforyou:
  • Diary isn't open... You could now be eating balance nutritious food instead of empty calories... Make sure you have your calorie quota for the day. Balanced with protein, carbs (5 veggies a day) and fats.. Don't wait until you're hungry to eat, just fuel your body at regular intervals...

    I can't see your food diary. you will need to go into settings and put it so every one can see it. what i would do is drink two huge glasses of water when you feel hungry and you just ate. people get hungry mixed up with being thirsty. and then wait for 20 min. then if you are still hungry then you need food. eat lots of protein. it will help you say full. so rice, beans, eggs, or egg whites. and if you want you can look at what i eat. i do have some bad days but i do have a some good days too. :) and if you are like me and you like your salt try to stay away from that. and it could be because you are sick. so drink lots of water and drink some orange juice or eat an orange. it will help fit the cold.

    In short.. My opinion would be eat you 1200cals
    Protein for breakfast eg 2 eggs and dry wholemeal toast
    Carbs in the morning
    Veggies fruit more protein lunch
    Veggies protein fruit ending day

    At this stage, no room for chips, junk food or alcohol... Maybe go under care of dietitian? (just for a little while)
