Hi there everyone. I am new to MFP and am looking for some people to help me out. I generally eat very healthy during the day, but when the evening comes, I start to eat all of the wrong things. I feel as though it is derailing me from my goals. I also am just looking to adapt a healthy lifestyle, as many of you on here are. Who wants to join me (and support one another) in this quest? :-)

Sincerely,
Erica

Sounds like you and i have the same problem :) I would suggest cleaning some fruit and packing it away in serving size bowls or bags so it makes it a quick easy snack :) Another quick yummy snack if you like salty stuff is some melba toast with a wedge of laughing cow cheese spread on top... If you really must have ice cream Skinny cow makes the best ice cream sandwiches.. The strawberry shortcake one is out of this world :) Good luck!!

Hi Erica! Friend request will be on the way. I try to eat healthy all of the time, and sometimes fail, usually on the weekends... I have let MFP help me change my lifestyle though and I have definitely gotten better this year about exercising and in general being a healthy, happier person. Welcome to MFP and good luck!

I second the Skinny Cow sandwich recommendation--love those...

My family loves to snack at night--and I have had to wean myself off the bowl of ice cream, milk and cookies, etc.

    Good luck to you!

I'll friend request you too - I'm very good during the week and not so much during the weekend - it makes me feel like all the hard work of the week gets "undone". It's hard not to self-sabotage - but we all must keep trying! I think the community aspect of things definitely helps. Good luck!

    I want to join you!
  • I've fallen into that trap... in fact I'm currently trying to dig out of it now. I think one key is to keep yourself busy and away from food. When it is available and you're bored, it can get bad. I'll add you as a friend and hopefully we can help one another out!
