Chlorella Anyone? (Especially vegans?)

I just read about chlorella which sounds like a miracle super food!
This is an incerpt from Thrive by Brenden Brazier the vegan Ironman triathlele.

It is a single celled freshwater green algae. It contains more chlorophyll than any other known plant and nucleic acids (DNA and RNA). It is 65% protein (complete protein), it is alkaline (quicker recovery from exercising), it naturally has B12(the only plant source available vegans!), It also has an incredible growth factor where it can regenerate itself every 24 hours which means its the fastest growing plant. Because of this, it speeds cell generation, slows signs of aging, and enhances healing.

So guess what I'm gonna go get at the store tonight! Just wanted to share about this super food!

    Are you planning on taking it as a supplement or do you have other plans for it? I am a vegan also and am always interested in learning about new foods! :smile:

    I totally read Chollera and got a bit concerned! I've never heard of this either.

    Look it up online. It is widely used in Japan.

    You can buy it at Wholefoods or your co-op. If you don't have access, you can get it on Amazon. Yes I am sure bat guano would probably tase better than this stuff but I am gonna mix 1 tsp in my shoothie every morning and see how it goes!

    I bought some from mercola.com. (http://products.mercola.com/chlorella/) Good stuff! I haven't taken any in awhile now...I keep forgetting about it. Will have to start again :D

    What's the dif between this and chorophyll? I take BarleyLife twice a day, it is loaded with chorophyll. Just wondered if you knew.

    All plants have chlorophyl in them. This algae has more than chlorophyl to offer including natural B12, complete protein, tons of vitamins and antioxidants. Plus it has more chlorophyl than any other known plant.
