Greetings from Austin Tx!!

I am new here and still looking things over. I found this app via a facebook friend. :) I have been on a diet again now for about 2 weeks.. again being the key word I keep telling myself. But for some reason, I truly feel this time will work. The motivation is there and before, it just was not.

    I am also new here and am also in the Austin area! I've been using this app for just over a month and have lost 6 pounds so far. I just recently found this part of the app though.

    Hi, y’all. Welcome to MFP!

    My first advice would be: ditch the word “diet”. Diet implies temporary.

    This needs to be a change of lifestyle and habits, something you can sustain and maintain once you reach your goal, versus reaching that goal and going, ”Woohooo! Back to old habits!”

    If you think of it that way from Day One, it will help immensely.

    Ask questions if you’re fuzzy on how to get started.

    This plan works if you’re willing to commit to it, and don’t try to be in a rush to lose all at once. I’ve lost 93 pounds via this app.
