Has anyone been able to naturally decrease their platelet count? If yes, how?
I've read that eating certain foods and increase exercising can help reduce platelet counts.

My understanding is, platelets form the greater part of wound healing, so this leaves me asking the question as someone with salicylate issues, why would you want to reduce platelets?
I'm sure if you have discovered your platelet count to be problematic to you, you must have been experiencing symptoms and had results confirmed by a doctor. So My recommendation is you talk to your medical team and ask them to recommend a dietitian with experience in this field.
Wishing you all the very best and than you feel very well soon.4 -
I have not heard of anyone decreasing naturally. My father has a rare blood cancer that causes over proliferation of platelets and takes a chemo pill to reduce the platelet count. I would suggest seeing a hematologist. My father lost a leg due to uncontrolled platelet levels causing clots.2

There is no way to reduce your platelet count through lifestyle/diet. Sorry.0
