For sure! I allow myself a cheat day once a week as long as I've worked hard through out the week to earn it.
  • I'm a chocoholic. I drink Chocolate Almond milk almost everyday. It's chocolatey, has no sugar and is good for you. Also I don't have any chocolate cravings afterwards!
  • I was told to eat dark chocolate like 70%+ stuff! Buy a bar and snap the cubes up and eat a couple of squares...that is all
  • Dark chocolate is ideal as it contains less sugar, whereas white chocolate basically is sugar.

Maybe, but most chocoholics are addicted to milk chocolate.

Eating chocolate isn't a cheat, it's not bad for you and can easily be incorproated as a treat into a sensible balanced calorie-controlled plan. I'm currently on a pledge so I've given up all sweets and biscuits till the end of the month. To be honest, I'll probably be abstaining until at least Christmas, but know if I'm ever going to conquer my chocolate addiction, I'm going to have to re-introduce some milk chocolate back into my food-plan, e.g. have one Choco Leibnitz instead of a whole pack

I'd say 100kc of kitkat a day isn't gonna kill you... as long as you count it. You've proabbly still got another 1200 or so to play with and get all the whoelsome nutrients you need

If you plan for the calories, I think its fine. I keep the dove dark chocolate in my desk for those times I want a chcolate. As long as I have only 1 or 2 I am fine.

I am not a chocoholic so I will not pretend to understand it really lol..But what I do find marginally satisfying are Blue Ribbon Chocolate bars - low calorie count and you can get a pack of 10 from Iceland for a bargain.

I have just recently discovered that I now love dark chocolate. Less calories and sugar than regular milk chocolate and health benefits also. The skinny cow candy bars are AMAZING also and only have 110 cals(they come in chocolate or peanut butter). They have wafers and either a chocolate or PB mousse type filling. I am not a chocoholic but when I need a chocolate fix, I now either have a square of dark chocolate or a skinny cow candy bar. The candy bars are a bit pricey but I can usually find a coupon online for $1 off. So worth it!! :) I have learned to never deprive yourself because it just makes the cravings that much worse and causes you to binge once you decide to have something that you have been keeping yourself from. MODERATION is the key word. All things in moderation

It seems to me that a little bit of what you fancy is OK so maybe just a square or two is not so bad....

No one should totally give up the things they love............

A bit of chocolate can be part of a sensible diet :) I just ate a mini Hershey bar before reading this! lol!
