Day 1 ............again

Good Morning everyone! I am starting over.... again. I'm not sure what it is about logging food but I SUCK at it!!! I just can't seem to remember to do it daily. I really want to figure out my macros, calorie intake and go from there. I need to lose weight to stay healthy for myself and 3 kids. I hate being the "fat" one in the family. My husband and kids are all fit and love sports... and me, I have a hard time with basically anything. I've taken to hiking / biking in the mountains and I REALLY want to be able to do this and keep up with my husband and daughter and not feel like I'm keeping them back every time I stop to breathe. Any other 41 yr old needing a workout buddy to keep them on track? Nutrition is my main focus but I will be working out to! Looking to lose 50lbs Minimum!

Hi, feel free to add me as a friend. I can give you some encouragement! I just started back 13 days ago after a more than 6-year hiatus. I kinda suck at loging too sometimes, but now I just make sure I log it in as soon as I eat or exercise so I don't forget. I was at 200 pounds and now weigh 192 all within 13 days of being back. My only exercise is walking for now and watching what I eat. You can do it!!

You can add me. I can always use support. I have a difficult time logging food as well. I am 53, soon to be 54 and am starting back with the tracking after a 3 year hiatus. Trying to get back to exercising as well. Dating a man who loves to hike and walk and I am tired of huffing and puffing. My weight is not crazy out of control, but I have gained back the 30 pounds I lost over 3 years ago and would love to lose it again. I know food is my main problem and feel if I can keep it tracked and realize where my calories are going, I would do better. I am a snack lover and that is one of my struggles. You can do this! I would be happy to help support you on the journey

Could you log several days beforehand? I find that having a plan keeps me in line, controls grocery shopping, and I can always alter it on the fly, like I have today while being a couch bunny because not feeling so hot.

I use to meal prep in the past and found that it helped. I do try to plan ahead some. I always try to plan healthy meals that will allow for some decent leftovers to take to work for lunches. I need to make the time to do meal prep again. It was always nice to have everything made and ready to grab and go.
