What are your toxic gym traits?

Not stretching much before my workout.

Not stretching at all after my workout.

Doing my reps too quickly, instead of slow and controlled because I want to get to my next exercise.

Not going super heavy on weights because I refuse to ask anyone to spot me.

Your turn!

    Bad technique/ form when lifting.
I think I pulled a muscle a couple months ago on my one arm it’s been sore ever since and I can’t move it the same.

The opposite is true for me.
I know most everybody at the gym.
Here’s the issue, if five different folks want to chat for just five minutes each, it kills the workout.

I don’t think this is a toxic trait. I think the annoying people who want to talk to you while you’re working out are toxic lol

Not listening to my body. Pushed too heavy for too many reps and my shoulder has not been the same since :'(
