    Am I right to think of a hike as being on an unpaved path (or without path) versus a walk as being on paved surfaces?
    I guess that means this morning, my "walk" was 3/4 walk and 1/4 hike?
    Or does walk vs hike depend more on your attitude, energy, effort,...?

    Would you believe my mother thought they were too nonsensical? Might j never had have Barbie dolls either cause I guess she didn't like the image they portrayed? Would you believe as I've aged I have realized my parents were ahead of their times in some beliefs like my dad was a recycler before recycling was a thing?
