Give it a try, and if it becomes unbearably painful, switch to walking/ take a break?0

I generally take a break and do an upper body strength workout to give myself a day to recover. You don't want to overstress or over train your calves. I pulled one of mine not being warmed up enough before stretching and it took 6 weeks of nothing to heal, not worth the injury IMO.0
