Hi! I joined MFP Sept 2 and since I've started keeping track I've lost about 16 lbs. Not sure how accurate it is since my scale says one thing and the digital says another. I'm afraid that counting calories will stop working though or that I wont be strong enough to continue using it and just go back to eating whatever I want. Need help and support!:smile:

    DON'T STOP!!! Just think of how great you feel now from losing the 16 pounds......can you imagine how another 16 pounds would feel? Keep it up and never ever stop. Lisa From Ca.
  • Congrats on starting this journey! Hope you keep up with the good work, feel free to friend me for motivation! As i may need some myself! I have trouble to when it comes to indulging in the BAD foods!
  • Hang in there! You have already made great progress. Remember that slow and steady wins the race.
  • I am in the same boat. I actually started using the site early this month and have slipped up a couple times. The advice I have gotten is to just put the day behind me, start a new day, hold myself accountable for what I ate, and try not to do it again. It is kind of hard, but always think of how you want to look and how healthy you want to be. Sometimes I look at old pictures of myself and think, I WILL look like that again.

    And your weighloss of 16 lbs already, great job! That is amazing! :flowerforyou:
