i have been logging in every time i do strength training, does it not count towards burning calories? or am i not using the tool appropriately?

You have to log it under cardio. Don't know why. I had the same problem when I first got on this site. :bigsmile:0

select "strength training" under cardio exercises and then also add each thing you do for strength training...0

Get a chest strap heart rate monitor. Wear it when you work out. You'll know how many calories you burn. I have a Polar FT7, cost is about $100
