Dietbet economics

I did a dietbet over the last month. Thought it would be useful to share the stats in case anyone is considering this:
156 players at $100 each
123 winners, who won $1.46 each
33 losers who lost $100 each
Total share of $3300 remainder winner pot divided between winners: $180 (~5%)
Total share of $3300 remainder winner pot to dietbet: $3120 (~95%)
Conclusion: Will leave that as an exercise to the reader
I won, but my $1.46 winnings will undoubtedly turn into a loss due to the exchange rate to GBP

If I remember correctly dietbet take 25% of the game revenue but that can be less to ensure that at winning game players will at least win their original bet back.
To make real money on dietbet you need to play a game with a lot of game losers, which seems really mean spirited. I think the aim of dietbet isn't necessarily about making a lot of winnings but lose some fat, get healthier, develop some helpful habits, gain some friendships/connections and at the very least win your original bet.1
