taco salad...Yummy!!!
I just made the yummiest taco salad, had to share...
1/2 head shredded romaine lettuce
1/2 tomato chopped
1/2 avocado chopped (optional)
1/2 container of 170g 0% fage yogurt
4 tablespoons salsa
1lb extra lean ground sirloin
1/2 onion chopped
2 garlic cloved chopped
1/4 cup reduced fat shredded cheddar cheese
put the shredded lettuce, tomatoes and avocado in a large bowl. In a seperate bowl mix yogurt and 3tbs salsa. toss lettuce mixture with yogurt mixture.
spray pan with pam, saute onion and garlic in a pan on medium heat till translucent, add sirloin, saute till cooked. season to taste with salt, cumin, cayenne pepper. Top lettuce with 100grams sirloin(1/4 of mixture) save the rest for more salads.
Add last tbs of salsa and 1/4 cheese....enjoy!!!!! so good!
calories vary based on use of avacado, type of cheese etc...around 350-400 calories
