I started on 12 May 2021 weighing in at 266 lbs. As you get older, you put on weight and it becomes difficult to lose the weight. I am not sitting a lofty goal to start, just down to 250. Once that gets achieved, I will reset my goal to attainable 240 lbs. I sure hope and pray I can make these goals.

Hi, and welcome - and congratulations on your success so far. I'm "older", too - 65 - nowadays hanging around here maintaining a healthy weight after loss in 2015-16. Your approach, with incremental goals, sound really good.
Consistency, slow and steady, can be kind of magic. I'm confident you can achieve your goals, if you stick with it. Any short periods where other priorities overtake are just a trivial side trip, if you don't give up altogether, I think.
Wishing you success!0 -
Your best investment is your own body, you can do anything you put your mind too doing. You are not alone.0
