Hello everyone

I am on a rollercoaster ride with this weight loss struggle. Hopefully I will be getting off this ride soon. Getting super dizzy.

Lol. Yep, it does feel like that sometimes, but as long as the overall trend is downward, that’s all that matters.

Many people here use apps that “smooth” the scale trend, make the highs and lows less apparent. I can’t remember the names. I think one was “happy scale” ? Me, I prefer the ugly truth and seeing it go up again was actually motivating to me to get it back down.

Anything can cause the up- PMS, salt, extra food (particularly carbs), muscle soreness, even flying (cabins are pressurized). So don’t sweat temporary small increases too badly.

However, “getting off the ride”? No no no and no. I plan to stay on the ride during maintenance because I’m bright enough to know if I ever jump off, my weight will shoot right back up again. So I’ve created habits to keep me here.

So, I remain “on the ride”, but now it’s more like the Peter Pan ride than Dumbo.
