I read everything. Just finished Jitterbug Perfume (Tom Robbins) was pretty awesome. Now reading Death at the Chase... an old book I came across that hopefully doesn't fall apart until I've finished it.

    A few favorites:
    David Sedaris
    Neil Gaiman
    Michelle Moran
    Markus Zusak

I'm guessing the point of this is to emphasize that if we can't discuss things freely in the forums and have to resort to PM to avoid thread deletion....why are the forums here?

I read mostly sci-fi/fantasy type books... things like Anne McCaffrey's Pern series and her Brain & Brawn Ship series.

    other favorite authors would be...
    Piers Anthony
    David Eddings
    Robert A. Heinlein

I know there are lots of others but that's all I can think of now. I also read YA books sometimes, since they can be easy to read and enjoy.

Good Omens is my favorite book of all time. By Neil Gaiman and Terry Prachett. Hilarious. I am on my third copy because I let friends borrow it and they never give it back.

    World War Z
    Percy Jackson
    Harry Potter
Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit
Inkheart, Inkspell, and Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke. GREAT books.
    Wicked
    Sweep series
    Summon the Keeper

I'll read anything that is fantasy/sci-fi pretty much. Bonus points if it is funny or has a REALLY fantastic villain (like the Inkworld series)

Good Omens was amazing! Although American Gods and The Anasi Boys are my favorite of Gaiman.

*love* Funke.. Herr der Diebe was the first book I ever read in German :D

I think the 100 book challenge is to finish 100 books in one year. I've read 60 this year, so it's close for me. We'll see if I manage.

Its a challenge on goodreads to read 100 books in 2011. Its about 2 books a week(but not quite).

I usually read about 3 a week but stopped for a couple months in the spring/summer and picked up again towards the ejd of summer.
