Hi everyone,

My name is Roberta and I'm trying to lose weight by tracking macros instead of food. I'm tired of being obese and looking for motivation.

    I’m not trying to sound disingenuous but why in the world would you track macros over calories?

    I would go mental doing that. Calories is (comparatively) tough enough (though once you get the hang it’s easy) but macros to me is like Jenga. Once you get one side balanced, the other wants to crash. It’s a tightrope act for me. I have to look at it on a weekly basis and be happy that that’s pretty close because I would neeeeever get it to work daily.

    I'm following a plan where everything is calculated to achieve the balance. I really don't stress over it, but I'm finding that a healthy diet gets me close to where I want to be.
