Yeap babycakes! My birthday weekend was legenderay I spent most of it inebriated. And last holiday weekend I was at the Taste of Polonia (partied with a couple of my Polish friends for 3 days in a row).Consequently I am feeling as though I should go and a mild detox this week.
Any suggestions and or tips for this awesomely tanned man!?????

I rather prefer 'toxing' myself. It's so much more satisfying.0

Thank you for the info. I knew it was a waste of time and money but didn't have anything to back it up0 -
I did a detox about a month ago and it was really good. I didn't do anything extreme.......I just cut out dairy, meat, alcohol.......I made sure I drank tons of water and ate lots of fruits, vege's, nuts, beans.
It was good0 -
Sense about science are a really good organisation. They're a charitable trust, that lots of scientists give their time too for free. They're often used by novelists, movie writers and journalists to help them to portray scientific facts correctly, and actively work to "debunk" pseudo-science.0

I wouldn't really call that detox though, just healthy eating. It wont have "detoxed" your body by removing toxins from whatever you've consumed before, but instead, you weren't giving your body more toxins to deal with. Giving your liver/kidneys etc a break is not the same as detoxing in the way that detox prducts claim to act. It's terminology/nomenclature in a way - but it's hard to tell when someone uses the word detox whether they just mean having a period of very clean eating (which is fantastic), or using products to remove toxins from the body, which are pointless, and a waste of money (and in some cases, harmful).0
