In my house, Sunday is traditionally roast dinner day, so I'm cooking a healthy version

That said, it will mean my having a lighter lunch, so Im having the following:

Tesco Light Choices - Dutch Crispbakes, 3 piece
Tesco - Whole Baby Beetroot, 75 g
Tesco - Liver & Bacon Spreading Pate,
The Fabulous Baking Boys - Really Raspberry Flapjack, 1 Flapjack
total calories: 310

It looks colourful on my plate, and certainly tastes different, if it tantalises my taste buds, it's worth it :drinker:

What are everyone else having today?
Whatever you choose, may it be healthy :drinker:
Remember to drink your water :drinker:

Hope everyone has a great Sunday :flowerforyou:

  • Good morning! I was just wondering what to do today also. I have 3 Chicken Apple Sausage and I was wondering if I should do th regular meaning grill them and eat like it was a hot dog with bun or get some stir fry veggies and slice them up. Which I know the later is healthier.

Later definately healthier, or you could compromise, if you fancy the roll, have half of one - always helps me :flowerforyou:

That's funny I was just trying to think of what I wanted to make today. Lunch is usually more a light snack on sunday. I am thinking of getting some fresh Kale and making some soup...It's a soup kind of day. lol

I'm having a salad and 2 rye crispbreads with a mashed up avocado spread (1/2 avocado, lemon juice, braggs, cayanne and sea salt) I had that all planned but I haven't decided on the meat? I have fish ,chicken or beef liver. I'm just going to just make whatever I feel like when its time to eat :)

the regular way. but I use whole wheat breat, light becel, and real cheddar, about 30g of it. I do it in a frying pan. With the tomato slices and fruit on the side, it comes out to around 300cals I think, which is fine by me, I love grilled cheese

It's a toss up between a wrap made with some leftover rotisserie chicken, or a taco made with the leftover soy taco meat from Friday night.

Oooh, or maybe a fruit parfait with raspberries, blueberries, bananas and some yogurt. I totally splurged at the store with the fruit this week. I paid 5 bucks for a 1/2 pint of raspberries, and 3 bucks for a 1/2 pint of blueberries. But oh so good!

I had a bean burrito topped with salsa and shredded cheese. I was going to have a cheese pizza. Did I make the right choice?

Chickadee I think its a good choice, salsa is an amazing topper since it has few cal's. Just watch ur cheese, thats my bigggggest issue! Its so much more fattening than u think!

    HAMBURGER HELPER!?
  • I'm having a tuna sandwich (2.5 oz of canned tuna) on toasted whole grain bread with some mustard for flavoring. Before I would've smothered it with mayo but not any more!! I'm also having some yogurt. I would prefer veggies or fruit, but I'm out - will be going grocery shopping later. All together my lunch is almost 440 calories, but I ate a light breakfast and will be going to the gym tonight.

For dinner, I'm thinking of having an apple, cheese & crackers. What else could I eat that'll make me feel full so I won't eat something at 8 tonight?
