I teach. I've taught PreK through 10th grade (remedial reading). I really enjoy working with the students and the best part is when they actually understand what I mean and have fun!

currently I teach music, but I was a 1st grade teacher for 7+ years before this. :)

I work at a trucking company and I get oversized/over permits for truck drivers. I not going to a complain. I'm want to change my career, I went to school for Health Information Technology but I don't have healthcare experience so no one will hire me. But I'm not giving up, I'm applying everywhere.:)

Great attitude! Good luck with the applications!=)
I worked as a secretary in a hospital...my advice is get in where you can at a hospital even if it is something don't really want to do because once you are in they will more than likely consider letting you eventually transfer if you do a good job..

Living my dream job as a Navy Chaplain working with Marines. I provide spritiual and emotional counsel, attend ceremonies, provide religious services, and help people find a way when their faith is different than mine. In short, I get to help military members and their families through all the joys and difficulties this lifestyle brings.

I work at a Juvenile Correctional Facility. I love my job.

I like working with people who society has given up on. I like making them feel like real people, and they deserve to have someone listen to them and not treat them like "just another criminal." The worst part of my job is that sometimes it's a downer. These people have had terrible lives, and sometimes I just wish I could fix everything for them... and I can't. I hate seeing it but having no power over it.

I like to find the good in everyone, from sex offender to murderer.

People ask me how I work with gang members or murderers, and my answer is always the same. "I don't. I work with PEOPLE."

My contract says I'm group vehicle administrator which is basically predicting and ordering new motorcycle stock etc. We're opening a new dealership at the moment so it's all a bit busy and means all hands on deck so one day I'll be in the workshop, the next working on the floor stock displays. I kind of like it like that but on the other hand, it'll be nice not to have to catch up on the real job from home.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that this has happened to. I trained as a Town Planner and had a really horrible time working for a council for 3 1/3 years. It totally ruined the profession for me as well as me in the process. Took me a long time to feel confident about myself and my abilities which is why I have been unemployed so long. Is there any other career that you see yourself taking up in the future?

EMT-love it because I help people who need it and save lives (or die trying), love the adrenelaine rush of never knowing what you will find on your call...speeding through red lights legally is fun too.....worst part...losing a patient, seeing a teenager or child that has passed away from a terrible tragedy (car accident, abuse, suicide) and running out the door at all hours of the night while still trying to put your pants and uniform on....especially in the winter (Im volunteer-but get paid a little-so its my job) Thats about it. But I would NEVER do anything else-when your patient looks up at you and says thank you...and people see you in uniform and just say thank you for what you do-thats what matters. I make a difference. Period. When those bombs go off and terrible things happen...I'm the one that goes running toward it, now away...thats pretty cool. and I love it!:heart:

Working hard at being retired. :) I had an in-home daycare for 39 years and decided to retire when I reached the end of my rope with state regulations.
Been 2 years and I've spent that time helping my sister and my neighbor, and just keeping busy.

I've retired from the construction industry and as a professional sports athlete as well.

Currently I train people IRL/online, though I have other hobbies(art) that suppliment income.

Best part? improving the quality of life of the individual.

Worse part? Being part of the fitness industry that is a business first. Seeing 99% of the trainers uneducated or at best doing the bare minimum to keep a check coming.

Mostly whatever I want it to be but currently I'm mostly technical writing, proposal writing, and number crunching. :-(

What I was hired to do? Develop and patented solutions internal to the company, assess security of autonomous vehicles, implantable medical devices, etc., act as a consultant and developer to companies and organizations at home and abroad within narrow and very specialized technologies.
