Starting again, but not from the beginning

I am getting restarted after many months of health problems that interfere with my weight loss and healthy goals. Fortunately, I didn't gain all my weight back, which is great. I am focusing on eating proteins and vegetables, along with some fruit and healthy carbs. I personally don't feel good on the low-carb diets, but I do feel better when I stay away from wheat and a lot of dairy.

I have a back injury that keeps me from doing the full range of exercises I used to do. I'm starting back up with yoga, and im doing as much walking as comfortable (not much yet, I did about 1/4 a block, then walked through the produce section plus the canned aisle at the grocery store. So whatever I can do is my goal right now.

I have about 50 pounds to lose, and hopefully I'll have a nice, steady loss coming my way.

I have extremely poor self-image, so I struggle with both the physical and mental aspects of a healthy lifestyle. Im hoping with MyFitnessPal and a lifestyle trainer, I'll get on a healthy path.

The picture is of me after a workout. I'm working on letting my "non-glam" side show! Lol

Hey Victoria, you can do it girl! You're amazing to be back and btw you look great in your pic!

I'm in the same boat as you. I was doing great last summer, then winter came and all my weight (almost) got back too. I'm trying to continue now from where I left off

    Good luck x

You can do it. I am starting pretty much back at the beginning but I am ready to put my health first.
