Good morning all!
I've used MFP on and off for over ten years, but have been a regular user more recently trying to loose that mid-life, ,lockdown lard :-) I am usually in calorie deficit, if not then I exercise more and it's only a few calories over - the most I'd say is 1350. I am walking 15,000 steps a day but have only lost 4lb in a month....I used to loose really quickly when I was younger - I am now 52 - so am disheartened by the slow, almost none existence loss....is there anything else I can do to speed things up? My diet is really healthy - no processed food, no cakes, biscuits, bread etc, lots of fresh fruit and veg and home cooked dinners...I drink at least 1.5 litres of water a day so am not dehydrated and only drink alcohol once or twice a week and then only a glass of wine...I feel bloated and am sure some is water retention but surely that can't equate to a stone :-) Can someone give me some inspiration....will it just all of a sudden start to reduce :-) one can live in hope!!!

Nothing wrong with 4lb in a month. I think you are doing well...be kind to yourself.0

4 lbs in a month is not slow, and certainly not 'non-existent'. Patience0

You can always cut off a limb.
Your body loses weight the way it wants too. Unless you want to do some dangerous or unhealthy approaches, then be CONTENT with a pound a week loss which is SAFE and NORMAL.

4lb per month is a pound per week, that's excellent progress. Slow and steady is the way to go - it's not a race.0
