From the Odd Files, Robert Downey, Jr. made a 2004 debut album called The Futurist. This song, Man Like Me is a slow song, sung by a Jon Bon Jovi meets gravel-ish voice. I can't imagine anyone, but his most ardent fans bought it.

This seems to be about the time he cleaned up his act from drugs & jail time... the song's lyrics & title seem to suggest he's clean & not going back, so good for him. The vid suggests he plays piano, although we only see him behind it, not actual playing.

He's sung on a couple of other albums, 1 his, several as a backup singer & someone best described his songs on Amazon, "He's a good singer, but you have to like lounge music", although, I'd replace good with capable.
