Hi! I'm Christine, I'm new(ish), and I'm excited about taking full advantage of my MFP membership. My main issue is and always has been eating too much and eating the wrong foods not exercise. I'm glad to have found a place where people can discuss their setbacks and celebrate their accomplishments.

I have 2 dress sizes (about 15 lbs) to lose. My current training program consists of working with a personal trainer once a week, running 3x a week (currently doing C25k). My eating plan is a diet high in protein & complex carbs and low in sugar & sodium, consisting mainly of whole foods (per my trainer's instructions). I have been on this plan ostensibly for about 2 months, but I have not stuck to it, so I have twice reversed my progress by falling off the wagon. I'm hoping MFP will keep me accountable and focused on my goals.

I'm looking forward to seeing what other people are doing and how it's working out!

    Welcome and good luck
  • welcome, and good luck on your journey!! we all have set backs, i dont care who you are, set backs happen, its what you do when you have these set backs that will ultimately define how you make out!!! i will be a winner when this is over, but one thing to realize is that it is never really over, "we" will all struggle the rest of our lives to never be who we were before. dont be ashamed, post pics and always remember if it goes in your mouth, it goes on your mfp food journal! have a great day!:smile:

    Thanks!

Sticking to writing in my food journal is hard. I made it public so my trainer (and everyone else) can check it out, and she's so mean! Not really, but she does tailor my workouts to my eating habits; the more I overeat, the harder I work. I'm thankful for it but staying accountable and responsible is a pain. Being a grown up sucks. :)
