I BROKE MY PLATEAU BY...

I was in a mini-plateau for two or more weeks, and yesterday I went through all my MFP posts and noticed thatw whilst I was under on calories, fat, carbs etc, my sugar was ALWAYS over. So yesterday I seriously watched it, and consumed 5g LESS than my guideline daily amount of sugar.

Hey presto, I get on the scales this morning, and I have lost another 500grams, or half a kilo.

What did you guys all do to break plateaus?

I plateaued for 3 months, and I tried EVERYTHING. Then I cut my carbs recently and i've been losing again. I keep em under 100grams a day, but most days im under 50.

Watched calories closer and while I cannt realy change up my exercise routine, I walked fast and did my cardio harder, just put more effort into it not just walking and just doing cardio.

    I consider myself lucky!!!!!

I was on a mini plateau for just over 3 weeks, but that was because I was really really stressed! I just kept doing what I was doing diet-wise and once I learned to let things go over my head I dropped 3lbs easily!

that's what I have done in the past, I haven't had a plateau this time around yet.

Did you gain it right back tho when you started eating carbs again? That breaks me out too but I always naturally head back to the same spot. :/

Thanks. I'm watching this one, with interest, too. Plateaus are infuriating.
