I plan on using this app to hold me accountable in my food choices and a healthy lifestyle that shows I love me so I can love others by showing others who struggle with putting them first it is notwrong it’s a must.

Being as healthy as you can be is not an act of selfishness but rather an act of service.
The better your quality of life (health and wealth too, I suppose), the more you can be a steward to your family, community, etc.

Same. For the longest time I stayed away from MFP cause everyone convinced me that I was crazy for wanting to take care of my health and track my fitness. You’ve heard it before… “live a little! Aren’t you going over board? Just one dessert won’t hurt you!” Now that I’m nearing thirty I realize that I can make my own choices and don’t need to be influenced by the bad habits of others. Really happy to have tried it again. It gives me the flexibility I need with my food while also keeping me on track.2
