Hi folks, I've just joined MyFitnessPal. I've been using Noom since November and lost 45 pounds with it. I have been running and biking a lot, and eating better. I use Garmin Connect to capture all my exercise. Even ran a 10K last weekend and finished 11th!

Noom helped me a lot, but it isn't so useful once you reach your goal weight. I want to be able to do ongoing maintenance and even build some muscle. Noom doesn't let me track macronutrients. It also has some bugs and awkwardness in the meal tracking, and syncing with Garmin, and doesn't let you export. Once I finish the lessons with Noom, I will cancel it.

It's time for a new phase - tracking and planning using MyFitnessPal! It should be easier to track, and a better fit for planning my goals going forward. And it's a lot cheaper, even with Premium. (Don't need a coach anymore.)

I'm now training for a century (bike) ride on August 15th!

    Hi, and welcome to MFP!

It sounds like you've made great progress, and are on a good course to maintain your weight. Congratulations on the 10K, and best wishes for happy training for that upcoming century ride!

Hi! I just joined too. Tomorrow is my last day with Noom. Like lyle80, I have met (and exceeded) my weight loss goal there so it’s time to move on to maintenance which they don’t help with. I lost 53 lbs and 5 sizes!! I cannot believe I did it!!! Hoping to find support in this community for maintenance. My journey started end of Aug 2020. I eat soooooo much better now and am so much more intentionally active.
