I have had a couple of Polar heart rate monitors - and have been happy with them.
I sync'd mine with the polar website - as a motivator.
Search for polar on amazon - and you will get plenty of options under $100.0 -
Polar or Garmin brand & make sure you get the kind w/the chest strap - more accurate. I ordered mine from Heartratemonitors.com and they had free shipping. It's a Garmin & I love it! Don't waste your money on the deluxe strap - the one it comes w/is fine!
