Time to stop gaining weight!

It's been around 4 years since I started gaining weight. So far I've been lucky since all my "levels" are still on the healthy side. I do enjoy eating a lot and do not want to get to a point where the doctor will start prohibiting certain foods so I've decided to act before is too late.
Among other stuff I am so passionate about Salsa Dancing, I used to dance on high heels all night long almost every night. Last weekend I was invited to a couple of Salsa Meetings and due to my excess weight I can not wear my high heels without taking a toll on my knees and back that as of today are still in pain. So enough is enough!
So here I go!!!!

  • Thanks, so today is my third day and I've realized that the wrong food choices can make a difference even when are "healthy" foods!

    Welcome to MFP. I had the same problem too, I thought I was eating healthy but I really had no idea how many calories I was actually eating. I have learned a lot about portion control and calories in my short time here. Good luck getting back to pain free salsa dancing. As a man I would just assume that wearing high heels would cause days of pain for anybody but what do I know. Feel free to add me if you would like.
