Does anyone care to please clarify? Will it hinder the loss success if you do not eat those added calories. I would think you would want to burn more than you take in. Grant it. I have my setting at a 2 lb a week loss so maybe that matters. Any pros/cons? Is it just personal preferrance? Thanks for input.

Try it both ways, you may find you lose better one way or the other.0

do what works for you. there are going to be people telling you what they do is right and everyone else is wrong! It is really a personal choice. Try all options. Eat them back and see what happens, or just eat half back, or don't eat any of them back! I personally have found that not eating them back has worked for me, but I also won't be afraid to go a little over because I know I have those extra calories. Just test it out to find YOUR answer!0

I'm set at 1lb a week. I eat them back if I'm hungry- I cant force myself to eat, I'll be sick. Basically I try to always be over 1200cals a day.
I'm set to 1440 cals a day, if I exercise and put myself at 900cals for the day, I try to at least get myself back up to 1200. You have to feed the body to work the body. If you're working hard, you need nutrients/proteins to help build and repair muscles. This is just my opinion and how I live my days.
Good luck to you!0 -
I prefer not to eat them back. But keep in mind that the calorie goal MFP gives you already takes into consideration the calorie deficit you need to meet your goals.0

I have a Bodybugg, which I love. My goal burn is set at 2600 a day. So my calorie goal is at 1600 a day. If I burn 2,700 one day, then I aim to eat 1700 a day.
Basically my goal is to have a 1,000 calorie deficit no matter how many calories I burn. Yesterday I had a 3,000 burn, but my defiict was a whoping 1,300. I COULD have eating 300 more calorires if I wanted to, but I wasn't hungry, so I didn't.
If you're hungry, eat them. If you're not hungry, don't eat them.

I talked to my doctor and nutritionist about this issue. Both told me not to eat my exercise calories so I don't.0

I don't plan on eating mine back, if it happens, so be it, if not I know I should lose a pound or so a week, most days I might eat some back, but like I said, I don't make a plan on if I will or will not eat them back.0
