Hello everyone!

My name is Torrie and this is my first day on myfitnesspal. After graduating from college my weight has went from 145 all the way up 260. I was almost double my weight! I have learned that if do not pay attention to what you are eating and you are not excercising that the weight can creep up on you so fast. It can be pretty devastating. Luckily It took me to look at one picture that was taken of me and I said I got to do something about this. I have been watching my portion amounts of food and brisk walking everday now and I have lost about 45 to 50lbs in about 7mos, but I still have a long way to go. Today i just added the elliptical in my daily workouts I was only able to do 15 mins but I will continue to push through. I hope that I can be of encouragement to everyone and vice versa!
