Introduction

Hi there, my name is Starr. I have lost 90 pounds since Covid-19 started in March of 2020. But now I have hit a plateau, and in fact have gained back 5 pounds. Which I am NOT happy about. I have also run into problems with exercise, because I have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and scoliosis, and almost daily migraine headaches......it is very easy to hurt myself while exercising. I have not done any exercise in more then a week because I am in constant pain after taking a Zumba class the week before last. :'( Does anyone have any suggestions for me. I am so sad & depressed. I do not want to gain even a little of that ugly weight back.

Well, don't worry, sometimes it rains, so let yourself heal and get back on track 👍

    Welcome to MFP.
And congratulations on the 90 pound loss.

My 2¢ - I never log the gains. This works for me because I hate seeing them on my progress graph. Sometimes it means a looong plateau. And I just like looking at that better.

Five pounds could be water weight from the Zumba injury. This, too, shall pass.

Personally, I would avoid Zumba. Even if I could do it (which I can’t anymore). I’d focus more on gentler exercise. Walking, or swimming might be a good option.

Keep going, though. This is just a bad patch. It will pass.
