Changing Mindset for Seniors

I find it hard to go up against so many years of bad food habits, complacency and failures. I’ve struggled with fat all my life with only limited successes. All those little success moments, weeks, months, years — flounder in the face of pounds that creep up and up. I try to to find my balance. but — I am so far overweight and overwhelmed that I feel like a time bomb. Have any of you been able to chip away at 100+ pounds later In life?

I’ve had a good awakening that is helping me to fit some pieces of the puzzle together. Since childhood I’ve wanted God to zap me thin. Yet each time I got close I became afraid of the chubby shadow that followed me. And I remember now that God made me do the hard work. He’s saying “This is your cross to carry. Only you (me) can make it lighter. It’s not passive prayer. It’s work—day after day—to make my own thin. He will smile along the way that I am taking action, finally.

That's great, you just have to keep pushing till you get the results you seek.
